Terms and conditions of sale


CREDIT: Net 30 days with approved credit.  No order will be processed for any account over 30 days past due. Overdue accounts will be charged 1-1/2% interest  of unpaid balance.  New accounts applying for net 30 day terms must submit a credit application giving three trade references and a bank reference. Customers may also pay with check in advance or by VISA or MASTERCARD.  Credit card must be given at time of order or subject to a 3-1/2% fee.  A $30.00 fee will apply to NSF Checks. 

MINIMUM ORDER: $25.00 minimum order.  

PRICES: Prices are subject to change without notice. 

HANDLING CHARGE: A $4.00 handling charge will be added to all UPS and Fedex shipments. No handling charge for truck shipments. 

RETURNS: Please notify us no later than 15 days from receipt of merchandise if you need to return an order.  A return authorization number is required for all returns.  Please call for this number.  Shipping charges should be prepaid unless otherwise arranged. Returned merchandise must be in saleable condition or it is subject to charge.  Returns due to no fault of seller are subject to 15% restocking charge. 

SALES TAX:  Wisconsin sales tax will be added to all orders shipped within the state.  If you are tax-exempt, please submit a tax-exempt certificate for our records.  We will be happy to provide this certificate to you upon request. 

SECONDS: When “seconds” are specified, we guarantee at least 85% usability. In most cases, usability is higher. Material may be classified as seconds because of a coating or weaving flaw somewhere on the roll, shade variation, low break strength, etc. Manufactures do not always indicate why items are “seconds” and in many cases they are simply over-runs or blems. Seconds are not certified and not recommended for safety or life support application. 

FIRST QUALITY DISCLAIMER: All products sold as first quality by SRI are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship, but such products are not warranted as to merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, application or use. Having no control over the use of such material, we assume no liability connected with its use.  Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage or expenses of any kind arising out of the use, or inability to use our products. We make no warranty, expressed or implied, oral or written, concerning the purchased material, unless specifically noted on our invoice and accompanied by a written certification signed by a corporate officer. 

SECOND QUALITY DISCLAIMER:  Having no control over the use of second quality material, we assume no liability connected with its use.  Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage or expenses of any kind arising out of the use, or inability to use these products.  We make no warranty, expressed or implied, oral or written, concerning second quality material.  The buyer acknowledges and fully understands that the material sold as seconds is off grade and non-returnable. 

SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM: Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relating to the above terms, or the breach thereof, shall be settled exclusively by arbitration in Mequon, Wisconsin in accordance with the then prevailing rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.  These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
