ELASTIC SHOCK CORD
Commonly referred to as Bungee Cord, our elastic shock cord is manufactured in the USA with a multi-strand rubber core for long life and consistent stretch. Our standard material stretch factor is 100 to 125% under full load. The jacket or cover is commonly made from polyester yarns but can also be nylon, multi-filament or cotton fibers to meet specific requirements. Where quantities warrant, we offer shock cord assemblies made with hooks, terminal fasteners, loops, rings, and hardware to your specifications. Standard shock cord is supplied on spools and is also available in cut lengths or made into custom assemblies. It can also be manufactured to meet US Federal Specification MIL-C5651 and MIL-C-43701 for military applications.
